Chill, Gentle Nutrition
Feeling constantly at war with your body? Like your body isn’t your own but everything you’ve tried leaves you hungry and feeling like a failure.
Stop the constant battle of what new nutrition trend will solve all your problems. You’ve done them, and they haven’t worked, or they leave you coming back again and again (which means they didn’t work). These trends just leave you missing your favorite foods, feeling like you have zero control, and looking for what new diet you’ll try next.
This is the same cycle that your grandmother, mother, and you’ve followed: criticize your body -> start a new diet -> fall off the wagon -> feel like crap -> and repeat
What if you could reconnect with your body and tune into what it has to say? Your body has the ability to tell you how much and what food it needs, so you don’t need to rely on apps (that aren’t accurate) to tell you how many calories you have left for the day.
Macey was amazing to work with! She helped me learn how to balance my diet without restricting. She also helped me to love and feel good in my body the way it is now. Macey was willing to look into new things and explore them with me if she thought I would benefit. I would recommend anyone to work with her!

I’d give Macey a 10/10 if I could. You know she is giving you evidence based advice and tools that will help make your life better. I had the healthiest pregnancy that I could (being sick the whole time). We were able to add more variety and balance to my meals in a no stress way.

I have gained so much from working with Macey. She has a heart for helping, healing, and encouraging. She shares her expertise freely and cares for her clients. She is an easy and pleasant person to work with. I will be forever grateful for the tools she has given me in the world of nutrition.

Healing Your Relationship with Food and Your Body
So much of our culture is focused on getting to a certain size or weight, with ever changing expectations for what our bodies should look like. This creates disorder in how we feed our bodies and how we view our bodies. Healing your relationship with food and your body is key to not being controlled by the oreos in your pantry, not bingeing on ice cream late at night, and really tuning into your hunger and fullness cues. Then you can stop stressing about and feeling guilty about food, and really live and enjoy your life!
Postpartum nutrition is equally important but highly under planned for.
There are also a million voices (social media and others around you) telling you what your postpartum should look like, diets you should try, and how you should “bounce back”. These messages are harmful and distract from true healing and bonding with your baby. Learning to listen to your body and respect your body are key aspects of my philosophy. Using Intuitive Eating principles you can move away from diet culture and unrealistic “health” goals, and into food freedom and overall well being.
